Biography
L’Antoinella Spiller-Reddick is the Founder of Spiller-Reddick Immigration Law, PLLC with her principal office located in Locust Grove, VA and a second “satellite” office in located historic downtown Fredericksburg, VA.
August 2023, marked the 10-year anniversary of her law firm. Prior to stepping out on her own, from 2006-2013, Mrs. Spiller-Reddick was employed by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), Department of Homeland Security. She held many positions within USCIS to include Adjudications Officer (Policy) with the Office of Policy and Strategy (OP&S), Refugee Officer, Legal Intern, and Contractor. As a part of USCIS OP&S, Mrs. Spiller-Reddick was responsible for the management, development, and drafting of USCIS policy relating immigration relief for victims of domestic violence as provided by the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA). VAWA allows certain immigrant victims of domestic violence to self-petition for legal status in the United States.
Mrs. Spiller-Reddick has traveled the world as a Refugee Officer with USCIS, a Volunteer with the Peace Corps, and as an Intern with the Department of State. Mrs. Spiller-Reddick has lived and worked in West and East Africa, the Middle East, Asia, and Europe. Her exposure to multiple cultures and ethnicities has provided her with an appreciation and sensitivity towards immigrant communities.
Mrs. Spiller-Reddick earned her Juris Doctor degree from the American University Washington College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Howard University (the “real HU”). Mrs. Spiller-Reddick holds an active law license from both the District of Columbia and the Commonwealth of Virginia. She is authorized to practice federal U.S. immigration law in all 50 U.S. states and territories and world-wide.
Mrs. Spiller-Reddick has experience serving as a VAWA immigration expert witness. As of Fall of 2023, she began her service as a court appointed Guardian ad Litem, for children, in the Virginia Family Court system.
Since 2015, Spiller-Reddick Immigration Law has been blessed with over 15 interns. At least 10 of the interns were students from the University of Mary Washington located in downtown Fredericksburg, VA. Mrs. Spiller-Reddick is grateful for the ongoing relationships that exist between her law firm and the local community.
